An extended photo gallery from our recent flight test of the Cessna C162 Skycatcher LSA. All photos by John Absolon.
This was the first C162 Skycatcher to arrive in Australia - it arrived via shipping in February 2011. Australian Flying published the first flight test report on the Cessna Skycatcher in Australasia, and our flight test pilot John Absolon was the first non-Cessna affiliated pilot, and just the second overall, in Australasia to flying the C162.
These photos were taken in and around Sydney, with Bankstown Airport used as the base for the flight test. You'll find the Cessna C162 Skycatcher flight test report that goes with these photos in the July/August 2011 print issue of Australian Flying. Subscribe to Australian Flying now!
